In response to the DLSS3, AMD is preparing an FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3). The technology, such as DLSS3, can give new frames. Even if it isn’t NVIDIA software, FSR 3 could create more than one interpolated frame per real frame.

@Kepler_L2 wrote about this on Twitter. An insider found out the GPU Open software code mentions the AMD frame generator. The number 4 set up for frameGenRatio. Insider suggested that the frame generator in FSR 3 can create up to four interpolated frames per real one. It’s likely this value can be changed manually. That changed the value of the frame generator will affect the quality of the picture, and the number of fps.

@Keplerl2 says that FSR 3 will work on the driver side. That means that only the AMD Radeon graphics card can support the new technology. This statement directly contradicts the words of AMD, who once again spoke about the open nature of its software. There is no information about the release date of the FSR.
