The Madden 23 franchise saves the lost data corrupted in a server glitch

EA is hoping to restore almost 40 percent of the affected files.

Electronic Arts is tackling major data storage glitch that caused the sloppyness of many Madden 23 players. The glitch affecting the EA servers between Wednesday, December 28 and Thursday, December 29 has corrupted the franchise save files of many users, essentially deleting their custom leagues entirely.

According to an eA statement, if you entered a franchise, your data was lost. We know how important your franchises are to you, and we are working on a fix to restore some files using a backup as soon as possible.

Although some of the saved files in affected areas, were incomplete repair, and only around 40% of the users would find their Franchise data salvageable. Thus, it’s a sad conclusion, when fingers crossed all the affected, as they wait to find out whether their custom leagues have poured so many, many hours into care has been permanently erased.

More information is expected next week from the EA tech team, and users are encouraged to watch the official Madden 23 Twitter. If that concerns you, wish luck.
