The Chinese Room decided to keep the games original setting in Seattle and used some Hardsuit Labs’ work, but changed the mechanics and RPG systems. Bloodlines 2 will be held on Christmastide during a historic snowstorm. With an atmosphere that resembles Max Paynes New York at night, the atmosphere will have the same effect.

The main character will change, too. According to Hardsuit Labs, it was supposed to be a novice vampire, as it was at first. The Chinese Room decided not to repeat itself, so in the second part, players will play as the oldest powerful vampire who awakened from a long sleep. Since the events of the first game, the vampire community had greatly suffered, in the wake of the Second Inquisition, a Vatican vampire hunter, so the appearance of a vampire in Seattle, a great deal.

Bloodlines 2 is going to be released next fall; in January 2024, the developers will share new details and have a video of their game. The game is going to be released on the Xbox 5, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One series will be available on the Xbox.
