The new single-player campaign The Sultans Ascend will join the four main branches already available in the base game. It will focus on conflicts in the Middle East during the time of the European Crusades. Starting in the 11th century, players will take on the role of the Muslim resistance for eight missions:
Muslim provinces are mired in rivalry with each other. The Crusaders take advantage of this and sweep the Levantine coast, occupying major cities and conquering Jerusalem and leading to their control of most of the Holy Land. Players will fight against the holy orders of the Templars, Hospitallers and Teutons, as well as against their old enemies, the Mongols.

Finally, 10 new maps and two new biomes – the Japanese Spring and the Savannah – are also included in the expansion pack.
Fourth Age of Empires: The Sultans Rise Now available for pre-order with a price tag of $14.99 for PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The expansion will launch on November 14th.
