Leaking information about new and in-development video games is as old as playing games. In the past, these rumors grew from adults to kids and embraced playgrounds, arcades and more. Using the internet, revealing video games is no secret. Even though there’s a new leak about a video game every day, some leaks really stick out.

Since 2022 could have seen its fair share of leaks, these things are very common in the gaming industry.

Think through this short-form version or swipe up so you keep reading.

Below we’ve compiled some of the greatest videos in history (in no particular order).

Our last week’s a half, part 2.

The second version of The Last of Us was released by certain storylines.

Naughty Dog, a First-party Sony studio, is known for two things: sprawling single-player titles and leaks.

Sooner this year, Naughty Dog was a victim of a leak that spoke to everyone about The Last of Us, Part 1. However, since Naughty Dog was exposed by its vast share of leaks, nothing is arguably bigger than when the entire plot of The Last of Us, second edition, was released months before. To make things worse, film of the award-winning game also went online. The entire game might’ve not been released online, but the leaks enough put on the information to spoil the story and divide the fanbase.

The worst part is that Naughty Dog did so much work to keep it under wraps, only to get the leak.

If it is consolation, The Last of Us Part 2 continued to sell millions of copies and win hundreds of GOTY awards. But Naughty Dog can at least say that everything ends well, right?

Nvidia GeForce Now Is there a way of bringing something to my heart?

The PlayStation fans still wait for Ghost of Tsushima, PC port.

We can’t even count the games, leaked by the Nvidia’s GeForce Now. The biggest books that he emphasized were the PC and the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and the impending release of Kingdom Hearts 4 and the core of classic Square Enix tactics RPG-like titles like tactical ogre and tvp.

I hope that no one heard any comment on what was on the game. Since the number of official games grows by day, it is only a matter of time before the world starts to change.

Then, the car is the first to land.

GTA 6 is easily the most hyped video game in the past two or two years.

In September, the “network intrusion” of Rockstar Games led to nearly a hundred in-development footage that showed the success of Grand Theft Auto 6 on the internet. Rockstar later verified the authenticity of the videos. Certain details about GTA 6 look like there is a female protagonist and how it looks. While the data from the GTA Six leak contained many info, there wasn’t a single clue to the game’s story and other potential missions. I heard that one-time, the culprit of the leak was caught and arrested.

Rockstar is lucky that the hacker didn’t have many pictures and details. If, the game doesn’t go out of the range, Take-Two Interactive is probably not as confident in its development.

Dishonored 2

Aside from the other major leaks on our list, Bethesda has nobody else to blame for falling the ball on the Dishonored 2 show.

For those who believe that they are not knowledgeable, they will do anything. Because of that, many companies now think of it as impossible for it to surprise gamers. For a reason, Bethesda almost got bored with keeping a game a secret back in 2015. Although Dishonored was praised for its success in 2012, nobody really expected a sequel as soon as it came out.

In the upcoming E3 2015, Bethesda was preparing to announce Dishonored 2. As it was preparing the press conference, Bethesda made a huge mistake and accidentally revealed Dishonored 2 on Twitch while rehearsing for E3 2015. The studio didn’t say how this game was recorded in the live stream, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to tell that Corvo and an older Emily would be back for another go.

Half-life Two

The leak of the source code for Half-Life 2 didn’t stop the game from being the arguably best of all time.

The source code is a game’s lifeblood. It contains everything imaginable about the project, even the parts that the developer cut out from the game. And so you can imagine how angry Valve was when a german hacker stole and spread the source code to Half Life 2 in 2003. What makes the worst part of the problem? Half-Life 2 wasn’t scheduled to be launched until five months after this happened.

Legend’s tells us that this is the reason for why Gabe Newell refused to work on Half Life 3.

Pokemon Let’s Go.

The two Pokemon Let’s Go games created a new approach for Nintendo.

How do you fool everybody into thinking a legitimate leak isn’t true? It’s simple – you have to release that on April Fool’s Day.

This is exactly what happened on April 1, 2018 when several GigaChad leaked Pokemon Let’s Go on April 1, and nobody believed him. After long attempts to copy the same details on the Internet, people screamed hostility; ultimately the hackers ignored, but nobody seemed to be happy, until the game confirmed the Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! one month later.

The Creed Origin of Assassins is believed to be a Christian.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is widely used as one of the best games of the series.

Ubisoft has been sick of claims and leaks since the late 1950s that we could have filled this entire list just with Assassin’s Creed games and still had enough stories left over for their other titles. The story about Assassin’s Creed Mirage, where it’s claimed, was leaked very early. It’s the same as the other two projects now involved in the development of the Assassin’s Creed. At that moment, we refuse to believe that a large part of the leaks aren’t intentional.

However, despite some leaks probably weren’t true. Exactly, the info we got about the Assassin’s Creed Origins has been spreading over the years. For most of the 2010s, fans of the stealth-action franchise fed up with a Assassin’s Creed game set in Egypt with a set open-world setting. Pre-alpha-like screenshots made their way online, but a community was dropped.

The leaks occurred to the Legend of Origins website. The fans believed that the leaks were all about a forthcoming Assassin’s Creed game and not just rehashed all the details of the previously canceled Prince of Persia-based projects.

Final Fantasy 15th.

After all, fans can’t survive Final Fantasy 15.

Could you imagine seeing the contents of your game leaking online and the community mock the plot? It is so bad that they don’t believe it’s true?

Square Enix faced this dilemma in the first half of Final Fantasy.

I think it was likely too late for Square Enix and Luminous Productions to change Final Fantasy 15 story at that time. The game had already spent a decade in development when it came out, so it isn’t like it was developers who had time. Hajime Tabata, who took over the reign in 2012, stooped with what he got and we’re thankful for Final Fantasy 15.

Letting Luminous Productions release the final DLC for Final Fantasy 15 would have given it a proper ending, but, unfortunately, gamers will always remember Final Fantasy 15 as the entry with the worst ending.

Capcom

The village of resident Evil will mark the end of the Winters family’s story.

The leaking of Capcom is probably the worst and biggest of its kind in gaming history. After falling victim to a firm-wide breach, Capcom saw everybody in the dark exposed all sorts of info. There was nothing but for the consumers’ information, and everything was out for view through the web, and it also helped many of the company’s games a few years ago to come. A ransomware attack spoiled the enthousiasm of Street Fighter 6, Dragons Dogma 2, and Resident Evil Village, among others.

It is believed that Capcom is still feeling the effects of the hack more than two years ago in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
