Serial One Piece released in August to a warm reception, ranks the charts of the second week in a row Netflix. The show gained 19.3 million views between September 4 and 10 and in its debut week, viewers watched the adaptation 18.8 million times.

The show was adapted from an manga by O’Hiksi. The plot follows the adventures of Straw Hat Pirates, who search for a legend of treasure and constantly clash with other sea robbers.

The fifth season of the Virgin River with nine million views was the closest competitor to One Piece. Closes the rating Spy Ops with 1,9 million views.

Netflix hasn’t prepared for the second season of One Piece since then. Sadly, filming can’t begin while actors strike in Hollywood.
