The iPad Pro 2024 lineup is now official in all its OLED glory. Apple’s flagship tablets are now thinner and more powerful, they feature significantly upgraded displays and, unfortunately, significantly increased price tags.
For potential buyers, the best part is that the 2022 lineup with the M2 processor is still available at various retailers, so expect some discounts on them while supplies last. With that in mind, if you’re wondering what the difference is between the iPad Pro 2022 and the iPad Pro 2024, here’s our List of everything new in iPad Pro 2024:
- Tandem OLED displays (two OLED panels fused together for one brighter display) with brightness up to 1,600 nits (HDR)
- Adaptive Pro Motion is enhanced with a 10-120Hz refresh rate
- Optional configuration with nano-textured glass to reduce glare and reflection (comes with a polishing cloth in the box)
- Significantly thinner chassis (5.1 mm)
- The new 10-core M4 chip
- Base configuration of 256GB instead of 128GB
- Only one wide-angle 12MP rear-facing camera
- The front camera is now on the longer side of the tablet for more natural video calls
- There is no physical SIM slot in Wi-Fi + Cellular configurations
- Four microphones instead of five
- A larger battery in the 11-inch version and a smaller battery in the 13-inch version
- There is no charging brick in some countries
- New space black color
- Both versions are now expensive at $200
And here are the detailed specifications:
