The Chinese brand Skyworth officially launches its electric SUV EV6. A name that we have shared with an electric vehicle, that we have already sold with us, but doesn’t have any similarities with what we’re talking about today. On the program: a much faster recharge in only 11 minutes.

But even though they were still quite quiet a few years ago, Chinese manufacturing is taking more and more importance on the market, especially on the electric car. The state has become the world’s largest exporter.

We obviously think of MG, Nio, Xpeng, BYD for the best known. Do you know if you hear about Skyworth? There’s no chance. And it was so recent that this company was created in 2017. This subsidiary of Skywell is aimed at developing passenger cars, but an electric model has been announced for 2020.

If an electric car is already sold in China, the It Home site informs us that a new version has just been released. The Skyworth EV6 has a new look compared to the previous variant. The style is a bit too elegant and classic. We note that its lights look as good as Volvo.

The Chinese site says that the dimensions are quite generous, with 1,91 meters wide and 1,70 meters high lengths of 4,72 meters. It has become a good habitable model with a built-in approach, which means a lot of cars become more expensive.

Charges with speed are ultra-fast.

The Skyworth EV6 is mounted on a completely conventional presentation, with a large touch screen that has not yet been announced. This looks rectangular and reminds us of the present in the Tesla models. However, we don’t know if it’s equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The European website says the many colors available for the upholstery.

This new version has a slightly more powerful power output. From 150 to 170 kW, which now accounts for 231 horsepower. With the minimum speed of about 100 km/h, the maximum speed is 100 km/h. The SUV is equipped with an LFP battery (lithium iron phosphate) capacity, and this battery is built to be consumed in an average of 51.92 and 85.97 kWh.

Those who can run with the battery for up to 430 kilometers on a single charge, can connect it to a single battery, according to the Chinese LCTC cycle. Be careful, because this isn’t as strict as the European WLTP, which most people would rather give us 365 kilometers. There’s quite a few points at the same time that a Peugeot E-2008 with 54 kWh batteries can reach 400 km. The large battery makes it possible for you to reach 620 km, yea.

The EV6 of Skyworth is strong, so it can recharge from 20 to 80% for just eleven minutes in a special version, compared to 30 minutes in other versions. On the 10-80% exercise, expect less than five minutes.

This isn’t any better than the 18 minutes needed to transform the real EV6 from 10 to 80%, because it is a built-in model of 800-volts. Even though I don’t know exactly whether that is what the Chinese SUV is. The Xpeng G9 in 4C version, promises a passing of 10 to 80% in just fifteen minutes, and should be marketed in the future in China then in Europe. The IM LS6 also promises a very fast recharge, taking from 10 to 50 minutes.

This one is a total of 219,800 yuan, which is only 27,888 euros. a price which should still climb when it’s sold in Europe.
