This statement was made as part of a series of creator interviews with players of all over Japan’s game industry via Famitsu. He doesn’t mention anything but asks for a voice of support from his fans as he and his studio, GenDesign, reach an official announcement. Many of GenDesign’s workers work hard to get something out of its way to get to know something. But don’t expect it to be easy, and tell us your support, he says.
Fumito Ueda and GenDesign were looking for a publisher for future projects back in 2019 and have finally forged a deal with Epic Games. Ueda and his team are hopefully getting everything they need for something more good as Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, or The Last Guardian.
The planned announcement didn’t have any concrete date, therefore we don’t know exactly when to read the report about GenDesigns, but look forward to it.
