After three and a half years of competitive VALORANT, one of North America’s most experienced players will be stepping back from the scene.

Pujan FNS Mehta announced that his contract has expired and he’s taking the break from competition for a foreseeable future. The veteran, who was a mainstay of the scene, had a long history of acting, but plans to start a new path next year.

Even though I had conversations that could be played next year, my heart won’t compete at this moment, so it wouldn’t be fair to him to join a team, the FNS said in a heartfelt interview on social media. I had a lot of time to reflect and I saw that I wanted to build one thing of my own.

FNS believes that while his career has racked up his relationships with teammates and organizations, he should continue to make a life easier. The well-known star will challenge with streaming, without much help from anyone else.

FNS has confirmed that once he is happy with the product and the path he has built, he will return to competitive play. In the meantime, he will take himself off the free agency market as soon as the rest of the world begins to ramp up with acquisitions and negotiations before the end of the year.
