Weekend deals for PC games: New Year’s options, free space program and more

Weekend sales for computer games is where the hottest gaming deals from around the web are gathered in one place, every week, for your consumption. So sit back, relax and hold on to your wallets.

Humble introduced its first 2023 selection package Earlier this week, bringing some hellish goodness to all subscribers. As always, eight games are included in the January collection.

The $11.99 cost bundle carries Steam copies Doom Eternal, Tribes of Midgard, Olliolli World – Rad Edition, Encased, Grow, Conan Chop Chop, Hokko Life, and The snake con man Time.

You can keep all eight games when you grab the humble January pick. Humble also provides additional benefits such as access to a selection of DRM-free games in the Humble Game Collection as well as a discount in the Humble Store.

Aikos Choice and Kerbal Space Program are free on EGS

Epic didn’t miss a beat and brought its gifts to 2023, with this week’s promotion offering copies of Kerbal space program and The Shadow Tactics – Aiko’s choice. Once the 24-hour wait is over, we’re back to being available for free for two weeks.

Kerbal space program is a space flight simulation title with a realistic orbital physics engine, allowing you to put little green aliens into space for various realistic missions. Meanwhile, Aiko’s choice is a standalone expansion for Blades of the Shogun that brings back the five assassins for another stealth-oriented real-time tactics experience.

You can grab both games for free until January 12th on the Epic Games Store, which is when the party game starts First class trouble will become the next free product.

With the holiday events over, only a single game is back with a weekend free sale. You can currently try it out the anacrosisA four-player co-op FPS where you fight against aliens while trapped in a giant spaceship in space.

The holiday and winter sales finally came to an end earlier this week, making this weekend quiet due to the expected post-sale slowdown. Still, the discounts don’t disappear for long, and already some advertisers are returning to it. Ubisoft is also hosting another $1 sale for it Ubisoft+ subscription service, which gives access to all of its classic and modern titles until January 19.
