According to the Xbox Game Studios director of live game operations and that is a person familiar with the facts, the teams currently have more than a dozen projects.

When Christine Cox interviewed a Facebook user in a discussion, the facts were confirmed. In one interview, the truth was that she was referring to an interview made by GDC.

The executive talks about more than a dozen games in development at Xbox Game Studios and another dozen more games being developed by third-party studios, as well as, perhaps, timed exclusives or something similar.

There are a lot of projects that we are currently working on, and for now we have more than a dozen games. Each of these projects is entirely unique, and we approach them very individually.

A lot of it is certainly true, but it gives some sense of the number of projects currently in the works at Xbox Game Studios.
