Xbox Mastercard is now available to all residents of the United States

Last year, Microsoft partnered with Barclays to create the Xbox Mastercard, the official Xbox credit card with some perks and benefits for gamers who often shop at the Microsoft Store. It was initially available to a few Xbox insiders, but now, every resident of the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii can benefit from “unique value tailored to gamers.”

The main draw of the Xbox Mastercard is the points you earn for every dollar you spend at the Microsoft Store, streaming services, restaurant delivery services, and even everyday purchases. Below is a detailed breakdown of the benefits:

  • Xbox and Microsoft – Earn 5x card points on eligible products in the Microsoft Store.
  • Streaming services – Earn 3x card points on eligible streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.
  • Food delivery services – Earn 3x card points on eligible food delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash.
  • Everyday purchases – Earn 1x points on the card on all other daily purchases.

Microsoft also announced some additional bonuses that you can get starting today. They include 5,000 points ($50 value), three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new Game Pass members (after first purchase with Xbox Mastercard), upgrade to Microsoft Rewards Level 3, three months of Spotify Premium (only available to new members), and more.

Plus, after spending $7,000 in the first year, you’ll receive two three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes as a gift to friends, family, or anyone else. Finally, each Xbox Mastercard holder can choose one of five “iconic designs” and personalize their card with their Gamertag.

Microsoft says Xbox Mastercard works anywhere that accepts MasterCard.
