In an interview with Sirius XMs radio Andy program, Hugh Jackman revealed that time travel will play a role in the characters returning from Deadpool 3!

Jackman stated that time travel makes the Wolverines a more unique character in the sequel without having to bother with the Logan timeline. That was so important to Jackman and the fanbase.

And then we made Logan, and I was really happy, said Jackman. And because of this device these are in the Marvel world of moving around timelines, now we can go back, because of its science. Basically I can’t work with the Logan timeline, which was important to me and that I think is certainly to the fans.

Deadpool 3 is written by Richard Reese and Paul Wernick from a previous draft byBobs Burgersduo Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin. Kevin Feige previously assured fans that it would be an R-rated film like the first two films, a distinction that would make it the studio’s first with said mature rating.

It will become the first movie to be released on theDeadpool film series following the acquisition of 20th Century Fox. That movie is now expected to be released on November 8, 2024.

The first two “Deadpool” films are both box-office successes, they earned an annual gross of over 1,5 billion dollars. Both of them were written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the first was written by Tim Miller and the second of two novels by David Leitch.
