With the witching hour coming to an end, Dark Matter TV is set of offering a movie series with its comic-like Halloween event. This month, Dark Matter TV invites horror aficionados and fear lovers to explore the depth of horror entertainment with Darktober.
Darktober Details
Darktober is known as a monthlong fiesta of sins. It offers exclusive new films and television programming, thrilling social media contest/entry competition to attract horror lovers with the most engaging activity on display each day!
Here’s a sample of what happened in this month.
The medical student is putting back his headless professor to the dead using her special serum. Starring Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott and Barbara Crampton.
AUDITION (1999): Japanese horror/mystery where widowers offer to screen girls at special auditions, so that her friend would find him the new wife. Whatever he is trying to do, that doesn’t seem who it looks like she’s just right.
THE YORK (1982): Two couples fell in love on an isolated island and haunted by something supernatural, created with the eyes of one couple’s wife. They dream they would kill themselves! Sarah Kendall, Frederick Flyn Nairmannsen (Milley McRae) and Carol Kottenbrook.
BRAIN DAMAGE (1988): When an inevitably young man wakes to find that the tiny, disgusting creature is attached towards his brain. That creature gives him a sense of happiness, but demands sacrifices.
RINGU (1998): The infamous Japanese horror and mystery that inspired Gore Verbinskis The Ring. A reporter and her ex-husband investigate a black videotape, which was said to kill the viewer seven days later.
BLACK BOX: A new anthology series created by Tom Sokalski. Five-weekly episodes explore a future of technological progress, ancient worlds and scifi horror. Include gearhead, in-the-flight; or Ignorance: Obedience. Godmachine and Quarantin also part of the episodes from where this happens to be happening
WELL TO BUSAN: A 95% certified modern, contemporary music classic that boasts an unusual twist on zombie fiction.
THE WAILING: A fully certified South Korean horror/mystery. A mysterious sickness spreads in a tiny village. A policeman, killed in the incident and rescued his daughter.
THE GOLEM: A chillingly effective horror story rooted in rich folklore and mixed with timely themes. The mystical woman can save her strong Jewish community from the desperation of one other landowner, but who she says is to protect them is a much bigger evil.
COURTNEY GETS POSSESSED: A soon-tobe, classic horror/comedy from Madison Hatfield and Jono Mitchell. A best local Feature Winner came at the 2022 Atlanta Horror Festival. The release of Digital + VOD Friday, November 3, will come to Dark Matter TV shortly.
