The entire Tandemaus line. I am obsessed. They are two mice, and their evolution is two more baby mice. That’s not evolution, that’s biology..
They also look so adorably silly, with their deadpan eyes and blank little faces, and I’m a sucker for any round Pokémon.
Also, an honorable mention to Dudunsparce, for similar reasons – it’s such a dumb idea for a design. “Dunsparce, but more.” I’m lovin ‘it.
I’m happy to see the designers of Pokemon take weirder ideas and execute on them, like convergent evolution and the whole Tandemaus thing. However, I wish they wouldn’t stuff the Pokédex with Pokémon I’ve already seen from previous generations.

I’m picking a couple of the later Pokemon that stand out as favorites for me right now: sorry Fuecoco’s evolution, Skeledirge, for his awesome Gaudi-inspired coffin design and bird-flame microphone… thing.
Glimmora is quickly becoming my favorite Paldea Pokémon, and part of that is due to its design. It is a Rock/Poison type that is probably based on copper sulfate, a toxic compound made up of blue crystals. But it’s a really beautiful version: Glimmora looks like a crystallized flower, and while most of the time it floats in some sort of bullet shape, it sometimes hangs upside down on walls. It’s a really simple and elegant design that I’ve become attached to.
Cheers to Tatsugiri, which is the most fun concept for a Dragon-type Pokemon. ever. A fish sushi? With three different variations? It’s so stupid, but I love it anyway. Of course I have all three shapes, but I think Droopy is my favorite.
Gen 9 doesn’t have as memorable a selection of new ‘mons as Galar, but many of its mid and late evolutions are pretty cool, and I think the simplicity of many of the new Pokemon wins out in some ways.

Okay, listen, there’s really only one acceptable answer to this question, and that’s Charcadet. The little thing is just so adorable, but somehow emanates remarkable power. In short, Charcadet would have been the perfect fire starter if we didn’t have Fuecoco.
In fact, I’m almost hesitant to follow the relevant steps to evolve Charcadet, because I’ve become too fond of him. He has proven to be a great member of my team and held his own against various Gym Leaders and Titan Pokémon.
However, a special shout out to Pawmi. This little Pokemon evolves twice and gains a secondary Fighting-type when it evolves into Pawmo, but the first iteration is so cute that it could honestly give Pikachu a run for its money as the best Electric-type.
