The film which was produced in 2022, for example, proved extraordinary — Christian Bale, the actor who had previously depicted the caped crusader, Batman, in the DC universe. Now, following his role in the fourth Thor film, Bale has discussed the possibility of returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The 48-year-old actor made his MCU debut in Thor: Love and Thunder by Taika Waititi 2022, depicting Gorr the God Butcher, a scarred wing to the Necrosword who seeks the extinction of the gods. The film, who grossed over 760 million dollars worldwide, was praised for its performances, particularly for his performance.

When he spoke to Ash Crossan of Entertainment Tonight while discussing his next film, The Pale Blue Eyes, Bale disclosed that the returns to the MCU were still on the table, saying: “When we returned, it was a chance to get back to the MCU.”

A good story is a good story. You know a good actor or a good director that is interesting, but not quite. Because my children say I am not allowed to say a word of no-no-nonsense.

Although the character’s death was after the movie, Bale wouldn’t refuse to play a second-generation role in the game. Even though she didn’t expect to be back as the Dark Knight, Bale was interviewing Comicbook.com.

No, no, no. No, no one reach me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me sh*t.

For me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he had ever decided to do it again and decided to come again, then yeah, I would consider it because it was always our pact that we should only have kept in mind. We said we’d only make three. And then I said that and I would only do it with Chris.

Even though this seems positive, Christopher Nolan’s vision for the Batman films was based on making a trilogy, so there’s no chance that any sequel will happen.

The Pale Blue Eye is adapted to Louis Bayard’s novel.

Bale’s new film, The Pale Blue Eye, will see him reunite with director Scott Cooper (he’s previously worked with him in the Western film “Hostiles” in 2017, and star alongside Gillian Anderson, Toby Jones, Timothy Spall and Robert Duvall. The film follows a detective in 1830 in West Point, New York, who has been investigating several murders with the assistance of a young Edgar Allan Poe. It’ll be released in the theaters on December 23, 2022, with the production being scheduled for January 6, 2023.
